What is Anchorage +?              

In the past there have been various attempts to anchor film to the window frame systems. The results are that silicon mastics used can attack the adhesive or gaskets can damage the film or be the wrong size in replacement. The preferred method of preventing the filmed glass from leaving the frame is to apply an edge batten that holds the film on the glass within the frame. The Anchorage + system allows the glass to withstand a very high level of burglar resistance compared to normal installed film applications. In blast situations, the glass is retained within the frame reducing contamination and injury from potential lethal shards.
